An Iowa Town Debates the Fate of Grant Wood's Gothic Backdrop

"Never argue with a man carrying a pitchfork, especially if he's Farmbo. Rodney Bohner of Story City, Iowa created the new symbol for struggling farmers by combining the face of Grant Wood's "American Gothic" farmer with the body of the film character Rambo." 

Another 'not-a-parody' but an article and photo my grandmother had in her collection. Nan Wood Graham was Grant Wood's sister - the model for the American Gothic woman.

Not a parody but it still made the collection.
